CitiBank Careers 2014 – Reconciliation Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:
• Reconciliation TL undertakes documentation requirements & resolves transitory balances.
• He / She must resolve reconciliation differences including identification and suggesting method of resolution.
• Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data
• He / She must identify policy gaps and formulates policies.
• Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
• Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity.
Knowledge / Experience:
• Graduates (Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Combination of education/experience) with basic level experience in a related role.
• Candidate must have the ability to engage, motivate and inspire a large team of individuals.
• Should have prior experience in a control, process or reconciliation environment is preferential.
• He / She must use knowledge to resolve difficult reconciliation issues.
• Must have the ability to multitask by taking on extra ad hoc tasks without letting the daily tasks suffer
• Strong investigative and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently within a team environment.

Skills & Competencies:
• MS Excel / Access / Accounting knowledge & analytical skills.
• Project Management – not fully necessary but would be advantageous
• Excellent team player and display confidence in dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Should be flexible with work shifts and be ready to work in different shifts with short notice.
